"Why did you block me?"

Ever since signing up and finding immediate success with AOL Instant Messenger, I have been filled with joy everytime I receive a message. Such was my delight when upon my screen appeared a message from sttdilloon082. Clearly an educated sort, he said, "why didu block me ur a queer for that man why didu block me u dont have any friends do you u just block em all" (original punctuation retained).

Occasionally, I reply, as I was starting to remember doing to him on an previous occasion:

I had gone on holiday, not blocked him, but always eager to please, I then did so. Imagine my surprise when upon blocking sttdilloon082, I was messaged by sttdilloon2000, sttdilloon40000, Sttdilloon04 and sttdilloon400000. Then shottgun04, shottgun06, shottgun08 and shottgun5000. And then ShadowZX8, Quteangle96...

Never before have I been called Cint, nor in fact have I ever previously come across the insult. The only Cint of which I am familiar is a C/C++ interpreter. What kind of geek uses that as abuse?

The belief that he can somehow - with any degree of preparation - register, confirm, log in and message me in less time than it takes me to click 'block' does demonstrate a certain idiotic confidence.

Quite a lot of his screennames do seem strangely familiar; like those of the victims in the "So I put on my Wizard Hat and Robe..." cybersex conversations.


I would rather that he had not messaged me from all twenty-five of his names, but the names he had selected did demonstrate that it is his standard practice to get blocked and then register a new name to continue the conversation.

While I like katlyenimsorry and imsorrykatlyen, my favourites have to be jenthatsitbyebye, jenimsorryman and jencomeonsorry. blondyismylove seems strangley alone, so I imagine if you message blondyimsorry in the next couple of weeks, you'll get him there too.
