When asked about my position on the the current war on Iraq, until now I had expressed that I was against it. I said that it was an illegal incursion into a sovereign state performed without UN backing or any defensable international legal basis. I also made derisive comments about the competence of the political and military figures leading it. I would now like to take the opportunity to apologise for the anti-war sentiment that I previously expressed and any offense that it caused. I had not considered just what was at stake.
As another allied soldier dies, we must now realise that the threat of Saddam must be met. Any man that defends his own country using the limited resources he has must be stopped. Our heroes are in Iraq fighting not only for Britain or America but also for the Iraqi people who long to be freed. As the bombs drop, I hope they know that we are only doing this out of love. Love for freedom and democracy and we are willing to fight the world to keep the balance.
Although Iraq are well within their rights to defend their country, our boys have a job to do and for every allied solider killed, thousands more Iraqi people will die. We are on the side of right and when we win, I truly believe that Gods hand will be in it. I thank God for my freedom every day and through this war, we can achieve true freedom for the few that survive. Our boys are heroes to invade Iraq and risk their lives so we can drive our cars for a few more years.

We at home in the Western world of truth and beauty know what we are fighting for, but this is not enough. Brave Fusilier Adam Underhill, 20, from Birmingham, said yesterday, "Out here in the middle of nowhere, it’s easy to start believing people back home are forgetting about you." We must not let this happen. We all must remember that we have a culture, a society, a religion, and a free press uncontrolled by media monopoly or political influence. The Iraqi people must learn exactly what it is that they are missing, that we value so highly and fight to ensure continue.
The blue plastic burger bars shipped out to our troops abroad are a symbol of just this. I salute you Burger King! Ignore the detractors mentioning any visual similarities between your valuable and selfless contribution to the war effort and the chemical portaloos at music festivals.

In Najaf, our brave troops braved to 90 degree heat to finally receive the recognition they deserve by the Iraqi people, throwing off the shackles of their old dictator and feeling free to express the gratitude welling up in their repressed bodies. Our thoughtful coalition troops are aware of the need to keep a low profile, so military presence in residential areas was limited to Kiowa helicopters flying overhead and a Humvee with a roof-mounted speaker and machine gun mount. Danilenko said, "Most [of the Iraqi civilians we are freeing] were polite, saying hello or yelling 'good, good' or 'Saddam bad, Saddam bad'." This demonstrated that they were non-combatant, so most were not killed.
"The Iraqis seemed genuinely to be making contact," he said. "But in a very in-your-face way. It kind of spooked these guys who aren't used to this. The [Iraqis] weren't threatening. They were observing. But it was pretty unnerving, especially to the regular Army guys."
Our troops love the Iraqi people and are sorry that they must suffer these incursion and be put at rick in this way like never before. At one point, some civilians sounded upset about bombing heard in the distance. Special Operations soldiers tried to get the bombing to stop, Danilenko said. In response, the Iraqis started chanting back the slogans and messages broadcast through the psychological operations Humvee, Danilenko said.
"From then on, guys on street corners would cheer and yell out their support," he said. "From then on, the crowd became very friendly, open."
Despite the civilian reception, coalition forces continue to battle Saddam Fedayeen troops in Najaf. Critics take note! This proves that the regime is to blame and that these people want and need out help. It is not the people who are fighting us.

These heathens claim they have a religion strong enough to be the base of a culture that they "defend" by commiting acts of terror and terrorism worldwide, but they are misled. They believe that their holy scriptures are difficult to read, and require the interpretation of professionals on their behalf. Tony Blair managed to read and digest it as in-flight reading en-route to talks with these sand dwellers! US Central Command has said Iraqi soldiers have taken over the gilded dome of the tomb of Ali - a landmark venerated by Shiite Muslims as the burial site of the prophet Muhammad's son-in-law. There is no respect for their own false god, let alone our one true God! They oppose us, but it is only due to their position of ignorance. We must fight for them. However misguided, our priests at least care enough to molest our children. The repressed Iraqi people have been denied even this by their tyranical despot! The future of the world demands he be overthrown!
Baghdad has now been pounded by liberating allied firepower for 14 days. Unlike before, Saddam has not dared defy this with any television appearences, be it because he is dying from wounds inflicted by a missile on Day One of the war, or because he now, too late, realises the error of his evil ways. If Saddam and his sons are still alive, we’ll find them and try them for their barbaric crimes, and then the war will be proven just. Be in no doubt: there will be casualties, there will be horrors, there will be pain, but there will be victory and justice.
